This 200wad is part of a series I'm working on. You should probably read part 1 before you read this one if you haven't already.
Once I knew proper coding, I started working in what would be my first web application. I decided to build a license-management application (for some reason) and called it LicAPI.
Then, one day, I discovered JSON (yes, I was building an API without knowing what JSON was, don't judge me) and it blew my mind. For me, it was like the Rosetta Stone of coding, a way to transfer data between different programming languages. In fact, this discovery is probably the reason why all of the projects I've worked on were API-related or had an API.
Finally, LicAPI was my introduction to open-source. I just created a repository and built it "in the open". I almost deleted it when I started working on more serious projects, but thankfully decided not to do it.
